本要写一个字母而写成了两个的,有责。诘曰密释纳判无责——答曰:那是就须加冠饰的字母说的,这是就不须加冠饰的说的;字母既已加齐冠饰,人把它分开便如同写了两个字母。

The Gemara answers: This is not difficult: That case where we learned that he is exempt is referring to a case where the letters require crowns.

这里所论的,是那几个字母不须加冠饰的情形,所以他有责。
This is referring to a case where they do not require crowns, and he is liable.

那几个字母若已加齐了当有的冠饰,人再把它们分开,便如同写了两个字母一样。
If the letters already had their requisite ornamentation and an individual separated them, it is as if he wrote two letters.
